Pendulum Swing in Design
The movement away from severely minimalist interiors gives way to a more fanciful, decorative and comfortable look, where pattern-layering and “rule-breaking” are actually encouraged.

Dramatic Digital Design
Advances in digital technology, both imaging and printing, bring a new design perspective and innovation to a highly traditional category.

Defining Spaces
The fast-and-furious construction boom of the last decade left us with a mix of open plan and boxy rooms lacking in architectural detail. Wallpaper adds structure, depth and character to cookie-cutter rooms.

Design-Savvy Consumers
Consumers have grown more confident about design and are willing to experiment, mixing styles and eras to create truly personalized interiors.

Eco-Friendly Choices
Many papers are made of 100-percent natural fibers and almost all are made with low VOC, water-based inks.

Good Investment
On average, residential wallcoverings have a life span of 10 years, whereas paint has about a three-year life span.

Easy Hang Wallpapers
Once perceived as labor-intensive and an irreversible decorating commitment, wallpaper today is simpler to hang and remove, and even less messy and time-consuming than paint. The new easy-hang wallpapers are known as non-wovens and high performance wallpapers.
